New Junk Journal Kit - Boho Chic

Since I have now started uploading videos to Youtube, I have been noticing so many talented women who create these awesome & stunning Junk Journals.  I can spend hours watching them showcase their beautiful works of art.  After noticing some are using printable kits I decided to give that a go.  I'm always looking for new ways to grow Calico Collage and I feel this would be a good thing to try.

I decided to start will my most popular design, Boho Chic, and turn it into a journal kit.

I had to do a little homework on what these talented ladies like in a printable journal kit, but once I figured this out I was ready to go.

New Breast Cancer Digital Collage Sheet

I had a request from one of my customers for a new breast cancer awareness digital collage sheet in 1x2 inch Domino size.  She wanted something a little different from what other Etsy shops had to offer.  Her specific request was for images that had the word "Survivor" on them.  A friend of hers will be 5 years cancer free this April.  I couldn't say no.

This digital collage sheet features 24 1x2 inch domino size images.  Each image is unique to Calico Collage and will not found on any other shop.  It features the classic pink ribbon along with quotes and words of hope & love.

Trying Something New

With all the new changes with Etsy the new algorithm, I've decided to try another other way to get my Etsy Shop out there for more to find me.  So I've decided to give Youtube a try.   This whole idea is completely trial and error.    Hopefully it will pay off as time goes on.

Behind the Scenes

3D work is another kind of medium that I enjoy working with.  I've incorporated many of my different images into my collage sheets over the years.

In my Fairy Forest Collection, all the fairy images were created by myself using a 3d program.

Another collection that features my personal 3D works is this fan favorite, Wild Horses, the single horses in this digital collage sheet were also created by me using the same 3d Program that I used for the fairies in the above collection.

Now today I'm going to give you a little sneak peak of what I'm working on right now that deals with 3D.  I'm creating a  romantic ballet digital collage sheet that will feature my own personal ballerinas.

I create all my 3D elements in another program called Poser.  Within this program I start out with a blank canvas that include this mannequin.

Once I have an idea of what I plan on creating I dive in and start morphing, texturing, dressing and perfecting all the little details to create that final product. 

Once I have the element the way I want, it is now ready to save and be incorporated into my digital collage sheet where I will add all sorts of vintage elements and other digital magic to get it ready for you to create your next masterpiece with.
