When I first started making junk journal kits in 2017, I knew I had to include a Jane Austen junk journal kit. I was so grateful for all of the great reviews and positive feedback on that Jane Austen kit that I knew I'd have to revisit the theme again.
Lets now fast forward to 2020, and the release of Emma, a latest Jane Austen movie.
It was the movie poster inspired me to create a kit with a "Emma" theme.

Jane Austen's Emma Junk Journal Kit
Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore yellow, so I couldn't pass up the chance to pay homage to Jane Austen while also having fun with my favorite color.
The first step was to create a plan, color scheme, and focal point.
So I went to the internet and began my research.
I found this image from Ackermann's Repository and knew I had found my "Emma" and my focal point.
I knew I could remove the model from this image and make her dress more yellow to match or come close to matching the yellow from the Emma movie poser.
I really like this model's face, so I did some editing to create another version of her in a different dress.

For the color palette, I kept it somewhat simple. Here you can see my mood board and color theme.
I completed my collection of images by adding pretty pink & yellow flowers, butterflies, flower patterns that reminded me of vintage wallpaper.
With my graphics gathered, created & ready to go. I started in with creating the kit.
